Before borders were drawn and histories rewritten, the Makanda rose deep within Central Africa as one of the most spiritually awakened civilizations on Earth. They mastered energy, memory and identity.
Their greatest power was not gold. It was the Sacred Flame, a living force passed through bloodlines that stores memory, speaks with the ancestors and empowers the worthy bearers of the royal legacy. Their symbol was the leopard: silent, precise, royal, deadly.
Their world ran on the flame: Sacred Flame reactors, memory crystals and archives, living royal armor, conscious crowns, flame-powered transport, celestial navigation, royal healing chambers and leopard energy systems. At the gate of Makanda City stands a bronze and gold monument of a father lifting his child, a mother at his side.
When invaders came, the Makanda did not fall. They disappeared. Cities were hidden, knowledge was sealed inside bloodlines, and history was rewritten by those who feared them. The world called them a myth.
They were never gone. They were waiting for the one who could carry the flame again. That one is Zaiire, Prince of Kongo, who descends from their lineage. But someone always comes looking for what was hidden.
