Who is Prince Zaiion?
“I was the shadow of a king and the soil of a future. I did not seek glory. I prepared a crown.”
Born the son of King Zariion Mbube, the White Lion of the Sky, Prince Zaiion grew up in the golden age of Lyra and inherited the ashes of a dying empire. After his father’s last battle in the Second War of Vegas, it was Zaiion who preserved the flame. In secrecy and exile, he united with Princess Layraa Lula, the dancer of the cosmos, and their line descended to Earth to shape the destiny of the Kongo.
The bridge between stars and soil
Zaiion never tried to reclaim the throne of Lyra. He became the celestial father of the earthly royal bloodline, the ancestor of King Zola, Kimoya Kandake and Zaiire. He wears the Earthflame Ring, which carried the star-seed that took root in the Kongo, and the Cloak of the Hidden Flame, dull to most eyes but glowing on those of royal blood.
“They forgot my name. But my blood wrote theirs.”
African inspiration
Mbube means lion in Zulu, and Nkosi means king or lord. The House of Mbube carries those words across the stars.
