Companions

Who is Coco Rico Nsamu?

Known across Katiopa as the Greatest Chicken of All Time, Coco Rico Nsamu is the smallest of the Guardians of Kongo and the loudest voice of resistance. His morning cry, Cocorico, goes beyond nature: a cosmic scream of hope, defiance and survival that shatters darkness and shakes enemies who underestimate him.

Legend says his crow became eternal. Every morning, when roosters crow around the world, they echo Coco Rico Nsamu.

Weaknesses

A small body, a hot temper that makes him challenge enemies too fast, a strength that fades at night, and a habit of always risking himself first for his friends.

What he means

Coco Rico Nsamu stands for the courage of the overlooked and the immortality of a voice. His crow is a sacred anthem of Africa’s survival: greatness is not size or strength, but the courage to speak when silence is demanded.

Coco Rico Nsamu is part of the ISOLELE Universe, the Congolese comic book universe created by HRM King Kufulula: Katiomics stories where African history and African folklore meet Afrofuturism and African futurism.
