Who is Ava?
In the past, Ava was a princess of Nubia, born beneath the pyramids of Meroë, destined to carry Africa’s eternal dawn through music and sacred chants. Today she is reborn in New York City as a rapper and a leader of the streets, her voice her weapon and her stage her battlefield.
She is sacred and street at once: a princess turned prophet of rhythm, carrying the songs of her ancestors into the future through hip-hop.
Weaknesses
She struggles to reconcile the princess she was with the leader she has become. Her enemies know her power comes from her voice and try to silence her. Leading her people in the streets and in prophecy wears her down, and when she is provoked, her verses can hurt allies too.

African history behind her
Meroë was the royal city of the Kingdom of Kush, in today’s Sudan, famous for its pyramids. The Dinka are a Nilotic people of South Sudan. Alkebulan is a name many use for Africa as the Motherland. Ava carries all of it from the Nile to New York.
