Who is Queen Nandolo?

Queen Nandolo wa Makanda is the daughter of King Lemba and Queen Safina Lumeya, of the matrilineal House of Makanda that bridges the Kongo Kingdom and the Lyran empires of the sky. She leads the Desert Flame, an order of warrior-priestesses who guard the portals between the physical world and the sonic temples of the ancestors. Her crown is not gold but resonance.

The Mother of Gates

Nandolo founded the Five Gates of Makanda, guarded by her son Nzaku Mungoma: Sound, Flame, Memory, Time and Spirit. Serene and stormy at once, she teaches that power is rhythm and that true royalty is harmony between strength and stillness.
