Who is Nzoloko?
Nzoloko was the original warrior who fused the majesty of the lion and the ferocity of the leopard into one being. Born before the dynasties, he was king and beast, protector and predator. He wrote the first codes of the Leopard Society and stood as the first guardian of the Congo forests. From him came Mfumu Anyoto Kuku Ngbendu, the Leopard King, and the whole Anyoto line.
A lonely crown
As the first of his kind, his form was unstable, sometimes consumed by wild instinct. Unmatched, he carried his throne alone. And he was bound by a blood oath: if he ever betrayed the Leopard Society, his flame would die.
African folklore behind him
The Lionpard draws on a real chapter of Congolese memory: the leopard societies of the northeastern Congo forests, known as the Anioto, remembered in the early 20th century. In the ISOLELE Universe, that legend becomes a royal lineage of flame.
