Who is King Zola?
King Zola Kongo is the first earthly king of the celestial Kongo bloodline, a bridge between the stars of Lyra and the sacred soil of the Kongo. He carries the divine energy of Prince Zaiion and the wisdom of the House of Bapindi, a spiritual lineage rooted in ancestral flame rituals and Kongo mysticism.
He ruled in the 1900s, when colonizers tried to erase African memory. Zola stood as the last roaring lion of the old flame: a king who remembered. His crown was not inherited. It was forged in the fire of memory.
The king who exiled his daughter
Zola sanctioned the exile of his daughter Kimoya to protect her, and it haunts him still. Before the exile, he passed the sacred necklace to her in silence. His reign prepared the rise of Zaiire, and even in death he roars through his grandson, in every battle cry and every awakening.
Sacred items
The Golden Armor of the Twin Suns, the Cape of Nkosi, red outside and white within, the Sword of the Flame Tooth, curved like a lion’s fang, and the Pendant of Silence, which holds the memory of Zaiire’s future crown.
Words of King Zola
“Let them forget my name, so they may remember the fire.”
“Kimoya was the flame. Zaiire is the roar.”
“The lion does not chase the past. It guards the future.”
