The Isolele Universe: Between Myth and Modernity

A world where African legends meet contemporary graphic storytelling.

The Isolele Universe: Between Myth and Modernity

ISOLELE connects ancient kingdoms to modern cities. Myths are not treated as frozen memories: they become forces moving through streets, palaces, games and books. This tension between heritage and modernity gives every Katiomic an energy that is immediately recognizable.

Ancient kingdoms

The Kongo, Kush and the hidden Makanda civilization give the universe its roots, its queens and its Sacred Flame.

Modern cities

Zaiire grows up in Kinshasa. Mokele rises from its streets. Zaiko survives the Kivu. The legends live where readers live.

One universe

A prince of Kinshasa, a queen of Kush and the spirit of Patrice Lumumba can meet on the same page. That is the promise of ISOLELE.
